About the Project

A youth-led environmental initiative promoting tree plantation, community participation, and greener communities across Gilgit-Baltistan. The project engages young people in practical environmental action while raising awareness about the importance of trees for climate resilience, biodiversity, and healthy communities.

Objectives

  • Increase tree plantation and community greening.

  • Encourage communities to take locally led environmental action.

Key Activities

Youth and community members participated in plantation drives and environmental awareness activities across different areas of Gilgit-Baltistan. Young volunteers supported tree planting, community mobilization, and awareness efforts focused on protecting the mountain environment.

Beneficiaries

Indigenous youth, students, community members, and local volunteers engaged through plantation and awareness activities.
